Woven sea stones – custom orders

Found sea stones, driftwood and shells woven with rattan, wild harvested plant material and handcrafted cordage or plaits – these are examples of woven stones I’ve made and sold.  Stones can be woven to order with your selection of elements or to fit your story (photos are examples of woven stones previously made and not currently available).Pricing will depend on details of custom order. Please contact me to discuss your requirements before purchasing.I select each stone for its individual character and shape, then envelope in a carefully thought out pattern that complements its form. Although sometimes, the stone lets me know how it wants to be woven.

My hope is that the fusion of stone and fibre creates a harmonious balance, highlighting the texture and colour of both materials. The result is a tactile object that invites touch and exploration, allowing you to appreciate the stone’s natural qualities alongside the artistry of the weave.
